Good morning, Im late getting up...
Going to go to the beach or something..... Getting a new water heater today mine hit the dust while we were gone. It had a slow leak in it.
I am going back to Denver on August 18 for a surprise birthday party for my friend who has cancer. She doesnt know Im coming. I got a one way ticket. im not coming back till I get this hernia fixed. I told carl dont expect me back till it is fixed!!!! he wouldnt go back to Denver from Chicago for me to get it done so when the kids texted me yesterday I just baught a one way ticket. That will fix him...
Well I need to scoot and get ready to meet my tampa friends to go to the beach. I need some adult time. Carla

Hello sistas!
Surprised so many are MIA today. I guess 'cuz it's Friday.
We are just in off the lake. No fish for us today. We are having the darnedest time learning how to fish this lake! We did have a great time out on the boat, and Benny loves to go swimming, so it's always fun, no matter what the fish are doing.
Packing our bags for our weekend getaway! We're leaving bright and early tomorrow morning. I can't wait!
Better shake a leg. Got to use Benny's nap time to it's full advantage, you know.

Sorry I'm late checking in. I overslept, and ran out the door to meet my sister-in-law for my daughter-in-law's show. It opens this weekend. Casey is Maria in the "Sound of Music" here in a theater. She left "Les Miserables" in June to get to St. Louis to rehearse for Maria. I'm excited to see her again.
Our flight was on time, and we are at a lovely hotel here. We had a late lunch at the Applebee's connected to the hotel. While fried food is a no-no, I had fish and chips. I don't eat many fries, and I could only fit one of the pieces of fish. I brought two back to the room to heat up in the microwave later.
Gonna head down to the pool later. It looks great.

Casey is extremely talented. And she is the sweetest, most humble young lady. She is a perfect match for my son, because he needs someone who can stay flexible. He's a terrific guy, and he loves to do spur of the moment things.
